Calm Before the Storm is an original painting on a deep edged box canvas, comes signed at the side and ready to hang. All sides of the box canvas have been painted making it good to view from all angles.
The beautiful grey horse, grazing alone in a field, is set against a very stormy sky. The wonderful colours and contrasts in this painting are striking. The darkness of the grey clouds and the light bursting through almost exaggerates the green of the lush summer grass.
