So I am delighted to announce that starting from today I am the Guest Design Team Member for Lavinia Stamps during the month of September 2019.  What a wonderful opportunity!  I was absolutely delighted to be asked, as many of you will know how much joy I have had using their products over the past year or so.

I absolutely love how they give me the opportunity to experiment with inks and pigments, and watch their magic happen when using a gelli plate to print.  They give such wonderfully magical results which make perfect backgrounds for the fairies and woodland creatures that Lavinia are so famous for.  Each time I start a creation, even during the background process, I am imagining a mystical story unfolding and choosing the stamps to fit the story is just such fun.

Tracey Dutton is the wonderfully talented lady who’s designs are everything that make Lavinia so special.  The lady herself is a pretty special lady too, and I was delighted to meet her earlier this year at the NEC.  Her imagination is just enviable and the attention to detail in her work is impeccable.  So my own personal thanks goes out to Tracey for creating such beautiful products, and for inviting me to share my makes with you all.

Let Your Spirits Fly

This is one of my first makes for the month, titled ‘Let your Spirits Fly’.  Created with inks and brushos, using a large gelli plate for the background print.  The actual size of this one is A4 and I created it on a piece of white watercolour paper.  I couldn’t wait to use Zemira, who has only recently been released.  If you don’t have her yet, then she is just wonderful, you must get her!  Her long flowing hair complete with highlights is just stunning, and her pose allows you to use your imagination with what she might be doing with her outstretched hand.

I have added the links below to the many stamps I used in this project.  I do hope you like it.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I shall be adding some little tutorials for some fun things to make this month too, so do keep an eye out for me on social media.

Love, Tina x
